Discourse Analysis aims at the reconstruction of the institutionally-practical and symbolically­ semantic scarcity mechanisms which lead to the occurrence of specific state­ ments in particular places.

A dialectical relationship is a two­ way relationship: the discursive event is shaped by situations, institutions and social structures, but it also shapes them ' .
