I have had jobs I hated in my life. I get why you have to stay for a while, but as soon as you can...leave! I'm not kidding, the stress is bad for you. Nothing is worth the price of your health. Would it help if you kept a calendar with the date of the closing on it...and a "last day of work" marked after that? You could cross off each day, and be encouraged by how close you are to leaving. I hope you find something better, soon! Meantime, do you have a local paper where you can advertise your sewing business? Not just for curtains, but for tailoring such as hems?
